Tournaments: Kathy Lowden Charity Cup Fun Day 2010
The Kathy Lowden Charity Cup Fun Day and BBQ was held at Vic West on Sunday May 2, The proceeds for this event goes to the War Amps Foundation. 300.$ was raised . The top five winners will get to share the Income Tax reciepts. They are Robin Spear, Jill Spear , JD Lanthier, Bob Wilson and Jim Pickup.
The top three winners will have their names engraved on the Kathy Lowden Trophy. They are Robin , Jill and J.D.
Thanks to the organizers for a fun day.

The winners of the Cathy Lowden Charity Bowl 2008 at Victoria West Lawn Bowling Club.

The Baker Cup tournament was held at Vic West May 27/28. We were fortunate to have exceptional weather, perfect for bowling.
There were 22 entries. Twelve teams played at Vic West and ten at Burnside. We thank June Byers and Burnside LBC for the use of the Green.
Our thanks go to Marilyn Turpin for attending as Umpire on Wednesday. No Umpire was called upon for Tuesday. However, Bob Wilson remained at the clubhouse to assist with any measures.
Thank you to Bob Wilson, Andy Andison, Gordon Hawkes and Barbara Waldie for their assistance with the Greens. Also to J.D. Lanthier for his assistance during the two days. We also thank Jeanette Zevec, Anne Cunningham and Arlene Stapleton for managing the kitchen and keeping us all well provided with food and drink.
The women’s BSI Guidelines were followed to determine prizes.
